When Troy Collins begins a new painting, it involves so much more than just the physical act of putting the palette knife onto the canvas. It is the reflection of his intent to develop a relationship between a higher power, himself and his collectors; to invoke an emotional connection between a person and the specific piece he is creating. The way each painting develops is unique, and it mirrors a journey that he unwittingly takes with the painting and the person that it will eventually speak to.

“I love watching people come into a gallery and connect with a painting that I have created,” says the artist. “Those connections run deep and are always such an amazing moment for an artist to experience. I am a firm believer that art speaks to our souls. It has its own language and I feel truly blessed to be able to act as a conduit to inspire and illuminate others.”
