I have combined antique maps with my version of stippling and some colored pencils highlighting into my own creative perspectives. The background for this drawing of Cowboy Boots 7 Spurs is on an original map of Arizona, published in 1883 for a Rand McNally Atlas. It measures 14 X 20 inches and is framed with patinaed copper to a 21 X 30.

These Cowboy Boots are drawn on cold pressed steel using acrylic paint pens with my version of stippling. Acrylic paints were also used for more enhancement. The background metal is rusted and painted. Allowing the paint to mix with the rust creates a unique, weathered color and expression. The edges are wrapped in patinaed copper. The back is finished and has D- Rings for hanging. Overall size is Approximately 26” X 50”

This includes all four separate drawings of bighorn sheep, as they are not sold individually. They are the original Pen & Ink drawing of each, Rocky Mountain, Desert, Stone and Dull. They are created on cold pressed heavy weight watercolor paper. The paper is adhered to a wooden panel then coated with archival bees wax. This contemporary finish protects the art while elevating the traditional glass covering. The edges are wrapped with patinaed copper. Overall size of each are approximately is 20 X 26.
