“It’s the greatest celebration of fine craftsmanship and Western art,” TCAA founder, fifth-generation stockman, and silversmith and engraver Scott Hardy says. “The people that come there to be inspired—the craftsmen, the artists, the collectors, the public—we all stay at the same hotel. There’s two different events where everybody has time to talk about the art, to mingle, to tell that story [of the cowboy], to celebrate the culture of the cowboy.”

Scott Hardy, bolo tie, sterling silver bolo features a large 14K yellow gold sculpted bucking horse surrounded by filigreed, sculpted and hand-engraved flowers (each with different centers) and scrolls, with braided leather string by Jay Adcock
Those events are the reception on September 25 and the art sale the following night. Both events are ticketed. The exhibition opens to the public on September 12 and remains on view through October 18. Unsold pieces will be available for purchase through the close of the exhibition.
