Golden cottonwoods, Western barns and ribbons of light weaving through the landscape have become the visual language of artist Allie Zeyer. “The Western landscape, whether prosaic or sublime, is the foundation of my painting,” she says, inviting viewers into her paintings. “Each piece begins in direct experience, shaped by places I have walked, observed and studied firsthand.”

Zeyer’s paintings have been juried into many of premier exhibitions, where they have earned top awards and been showcased in respected museums throughout the United States.
Represented by the Wilcox Gallery in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, Zeyer returns this September for her sixth consecutive appearance in the quickdraw at the Jackson Hole Fall Arts Festival. With exciting projects on the horizon in 2027, Zeyer will debut a solo exhibition with Wilcox Gallery and expand her role as an educator by leading a gouache workshop at the Booth Art Academy, reflecting the medium’s growing popularity amongst artists. —
