Beginning May 8, Montana Trails Gallery will host a new solo exhibition for contemporary Western artists Cyrus Walker. The show, titled Rich Leather Interior, will showcase Walker’s inventive art style.

His overarching interest is the study of the nature of reality, existence and being. Although his work speaks on a personal level, it explores principles like causality, time and consciousness. Rich Leather Interior…is a gesture of familiarity dipped in obscurity.

Common beliefs and long-forgotten memories grace the canvas with not-so-subtle color, bold lines and sophisticated composition. Some of Cyrus’ work invokes a sense of personal growth and exploration, while others radiate harmony and humor. Let your mind run wild, because in the end, there is no wrong answer.”
