Rachel Brownlee has a spectacular November
They say good things come in threes and that would certainly pertain to Rachel Brownlee, who had a trifecta of excellence happen to her at the end of 2024. First, the Mountain Oyster Club in Tucson, Arizona, made her an honorary artist member, which puts her in great company with artists such as Tim Cox, Fred Fellows, Sue Krzyston, Howard Post and others. Second, during the annual Mountain Oyster Club sale, she was awarded the best in show for her piece The Spade. Finally, she had two sold out shows, at both the Mountain Oyster event and Settler’s West seasonal show in Tucson. “It’s been a great year,” Brownlee says. “I had a collector contact me yesterday saying he first saw my work in your magazine!
