Two Galleries place Dennis Ziemienski works into new homesCalifornia painter Dennis Ziemienski has been gearing up for a rather monumental winter season with a major show and retrospective at Medicine Man Gallery in Tucson, Arizona, as well as a new art book, The Art of Dennis Ziemienski, that will release around the same time. Sensing the excitement in the air, his works have flown off the walls of Altamira Fine Art and Blue Rain Gallery, two of the artist’s other galleries. Altamira, in both Arizona and Wyoming, has recently sold High Desert Mustangs, a large 72-inch-wide piece, showing clouds over horses, and also In the Clouds, a 48-inch-square painting showing a cowboy framed against a tumultuous thunderhead.
Blue Rain Gallery in Santa Fe, New Mexico, has recently sold Beneath Spider Rock, showing a Native American rider against the famous Canyon de Chelly landmark; Motel California, one of the artist’s famous sign paintings; and Planes, Trains and Automobiles. It’s going to be an exciting season for the artist.
