Elizabeth Sage grew up on a working ranch in Northern California, where training horses and traveling to horse shows and rodeos served as endless inspiration towards a greater passion. But, it didn’t stop there. “When I wasn’t riding, I was drawing and painting the Western lifestyle that I lived whether during breaktime at events or sitting in a pasture,” Sage says.

She worked in graphic design for more than 20 years, and then also with Texas Instruments as a senior designer. In 2008, she left it all behind to return to her passion for art.
“I have explored nearly every genre of art in style, technique and subject, but have always returned to my roots of Western and Southwest art. It’s what I know and love,” she adds. “…Western art allows me to bring all of my self-learned skills together in an endless variety of inspiration and personal satisfaction.”
