Direct from the pages of Western Art Collector
In the May issue of Western Art Collector’s Fresh Paint section, we highlighted new work from Deladier Almeida that was available at Blue Rain Gallery in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Within days of hitting newsstands, the work was scooped up by a collector in Billings, Montana, who saw the work in the magazine and had to have it. “I am pleased to add a modernistic landscape to my collection of historic and traditional Taos and Santa Fe work,” the collector wrote. “There is almost a hint of Maynard Dixon in the work, or maybe a modern version of Russell Case.” To our Montana collector, congratulations on your magnificent purchase!
