Festive crowd packs
into Legacy Gallery holiday show
On December 7, Legacy Gallery in Scottsdale, Arizona, presented its 24th annual Holiday Small Works Show. The box-draw event always happens at a festive time during the Christmas-themed version of Scottsdale Artwalk along Main Street. With appearances by Santa Claus and Christmas carolers, the show featured a huge selection of work from many of the gallery’s top artists. One of the works that sold was Charlie Fritz’s Wintering on the Saskatchewan.

Vicki Pedersen wins figurative award at SLOPOKE show
In September 2023, the SLOPOKE Art of the West Exhibition & Sale kicked off in Solvang, California. The 13th annual show, held at the Flag is Up Farms, featured more than 300 works of art. By the end of the exhibition, one of the highlights was Vicki Pedersen’s Cowboy Conference. Not only did the work sell to a collector, but it also won the award for best figurative art, an award sponsored by Western Art Collector. Be sure to mark your calendars for the 2024 SLOPOKE show.
