Cowboy Artists of America close out 2023 with a bang
On November 3 and 4, the Cowboy Artists of America presented its annual show in Fort Worth, Texas. Not only was the show well attended and critically received, it also scored a huge hit with collectors as it soared to more than $1.2 million in sales. Several artists had exceptionally strong sales, including Phil Epp, Tyler Crow, Mikel Donahue, Grant Redden and watercolor painter Teal Blake, who sold everything he brought.

Roseta Santiago sells new demo work at Blue Rain Gallery
In September 2023 at Blue Rain Gallery in Santa Fe, New Mexico, painter Roseta Santiago completed a painting demo with a live model, Dark Winds actor Eugene Brave Rock. A collector in attendance took a special interest in the work and returned to the gallery later when it was completed. “It was evident that he was captivated by it, and without hesitation, he decided to add this new price to his collection,” notes Merlinda Melendrez, Blue Rain Gallery director of sales.

Jane DeDecker in a hot streak with collectors
Sculptor Jane DeDecker had a busy fall and winter that translated into strong sales throughout the second half of 2023. In October, DeDecker presented new and old work at the Woolaroc Retrospective Exhibit & Sale in Oklahoma. She sold 12 new works there, and then continued to see strong sales at Claggett/Rey Gallery in Edwards, Colorado. Collectors are already waiting to see what she offers for 2024.
