Jerry Jordan rewarded with a sell-out show in Santa Fe
After two long years preparing the largest show of his career, painter Jerry Jordan was greeted by many surprises at the October 7 show reception at Legacy Gallery: hundreds of people crammed into the gallery to see his work, countless family members who came to support him, lots of bidding for the by-draw sale and live auction, and a show that not only sold out but realized nearly $900,000 in sales, including a $130,000 sale during the auction. “Honestly, I’m a little dazzled. Was that real?” he asked after the show. “It was an amazing event, and that gallery could not have done more to showcase that show. I think it was a smashing hit and I’m so grateful for everyone.”

20 out of 20 sold at Brett Allen Johnson’s Los Angeles show
On October 7, Brett Allen Johnson unveiled 20 new works at Maxwell Alexander Gallery in Los Angeles. A short time later, all 20 were sold. It was a thrilling continuation of Johnson’s ascendency within the world of Western art. Johnson also had the honor of closing out the Los Angeles location of the gallery; Maxwell Alexander Gallery will be moving to a new space in Pasadena, with a major unveiling that will take place in January 2024.
