Brick and Mortar

SEWE opens a year-round gallery for wildlife art in Charleston, South Carolina.

On August 30, the Southeastern Wildlife Exposition, widely known as SEWE, opened a brick-and-mortar extension of the annual event in Charleston, South Carolina. The new art gallery and studio space, named Gallery by Southeastern Wildlife Exposition, opened in the Shops at Charleston Place in the heart of the coastal city. The year-round gallery, which will feature artist events and exhibitions, will become an extension of SEWE’s passion for the great outdoors and showcase the organization’s mission to preserve wildlife art and support conservation.

“Gallery by Southeastern Wildlife Exposition is an opportunity to market and showcase SEWE throughout the year and provide access to wildlife art and educational activities to the public,” says John Powell, the organization’s president and CEO. “This celebration of SEWEwould not be possible without the support of Beemok Hospitality Collection whose dedication to art, conservation and impactful community events is reflected in this gallery opportunity.”
