Starting October 19 and running through January 2, 2024, is the American Plains Artists 38th Annual Juried Exhibit & Sale.The annual event will take place at the Pearce Museum at Navarro College in Corsicana, Texas.

The opening reception will take place Thursday, October 19, from 5:30 to 8 p.m. The public is invited to attend the celebration, which will feature up to 110 artworks in both two and three dimensions that depict the American Great Plains region, including its landscape, wildlife, people and ways of life in historical or modern times. Artists in the show come from across the United States, as well as outside the country.

The APA was formed in 1982 in West Texas by a group of artists and interested people who thought the plains were not being represented in realistic artworks. The organization has grown to include many talented and popular artists.
