The desert Southwest has long been a fascinating subject for painter Erin Hanson, and now with a new gallery in Scottsdale, Arizona, collectors will have an opportunity to see her desert paintings all in one place. In August the artist opened the Erin Hanson Gallery in the heart of the Scottsdale arts district. A grand opening will take place in November.

“I am thrilled to have a gallery in the heart of the American Southwest. In fact, I developed my style of Open Impressionism while rock climbing and exploring the wild locales of Nevada, Utah and Arizona,” says Hanson. “This feels like I am coming home to my roots, and now I have a great excuse to visit the Southwest once again and get fresh inspiration from all my favorite national parks and monuments.”
