Roseta Santiago preps new work for a big 2023
New Mexico painter Roseta Santiago has been busy in her studio preparing new work for shows in 2023, including a major show at Legacy Gallery in Santa Fe. Titled Day in the Pueblo, the work has many of the fascinating qualities of Santiago’s painting style, including the softness of her figures, a marvelous composition and vibrant color. Blue Rain Gallery debuts new Frank Buffalo Hyde works
Prayers in 5G is a new contemporary Western piece now available at Blue Rain Gallery in Santa Fe, New Mexico. The painting is by Frank Buffalo Hyde (Onondaga/Nez Perce), who takes iconic imagery of the West and adds modern or surreal elements, from UFOs and graffiti to landscapes to Native American dancers using virtual reality headsets during ceremonies. His work is meant to explore the union of the historic and modern world, which he accomplishes with fantastical imagery. See more of his work at
