Electric Saguaro, oil and acrylic, 30 x 40”
I am painting in my skies, I want it to tell a story. I want it to seem familiar and calming to the viewer. I am trying to capture that romance of colors and moods going on when we see a beautiful sunset or sunrise. Adding clouds to my paintings helps me tell a story and connect the viewer in a different way. This makes me happy, because it reminds me of when I was a child and remembering searching for those animals and faces in the clouds.”

Brown has had her work shown all around the country, including at the Arts for the Parks event, with the California Art Club, at the Mountain Oyster Club, LA Art Show and many others. Her paintings are now on view and available for purchase at Cowgirl Up! Art From the Other Half of the West at the Desert Caballeros Western Museum in Wickenburg, Arizona. —
