Don Woodard likes to call his work “fine art in wood,” and he’s not wrong with that title. His primary subject matter includes wildlife, landscapes, ranch scenes, sunsets, Western events and images of Hawaii. He began creating his style of artwork about 20 years ago and has participated in nationally juried art shows since 2012.
Woodard’s work has received numerous awards and has been purchased by collectors for their homes, cabins, private offices, a hospital collection, bank and hotel lobbies as well as fundraisers for the Congressional Medal of Honor Recipients and the Colorado Music Hall of Fame.

After a very successful 45-year career—first creating commercial signs, then transforming his company into an exhibit company, designing and constructing exhibits for trade shows, visitor centers and hall of fames—he is now a full-time artist. Although he has a list of designs, he always looks forward to creating something unique, including commission pieces for art collectors of all types.

Woodard is also excited for the opportunity to promote the exceptional graphite portraits created by his granddaughter, Malaya Woodard. Her work can be seen on Don’s website at www.donwoodard.com, or in person at Don Woodard ARTWORKS. Malaya is also happy to do commission work.
Don Woodard ARTWORKS also features artwork by artists Edward Aldrich, Don Weller, Susan von Borstel, Dennis Bennett, Chip Garofalo, Barbara Woods, Joanne Long and Ted Armulowicz. —
