Show Your Artwork in Our April Issue. Plan your marketing around these specially focused features.

Collector’s Focus: Painting the Old West
Legends, historical references and individual interpretations of the Old West continue to inform the paintings, drawings and sculpture of today’s foremost artists. There remains an undeniable connection—and fascination—with the beauty, ruggedness and lawlessness of America’s Western frontier. The Old West conjures images of cowboys and ranchers, wide-open landscapes and vistas untouched by modern industry. We will return with our 10th annual Painting the Old West feature in the April issue to spotlight select leading artists interpreting the Old West and the notable galleries that represent this highly collectible genre. Don’t miss this chance to show our readers your artwork depicting the Old West!

Collector’s Focus: Rodeo
First there were cowboys and cattle, but not far behind them were rodeos, where cowboys of all types could show their skills at riding, roping and a variety of other events. For the first time ever, Western Art Collector will be showcasing works of art related to the great Western tradition when we bring Collector’s Focus: Rodeo to the pages of our April 2021 issue. Rodeo artwork originated alongside many of the first major rodeos—in Prescott, Arizona, and later with the Cheyenne Frontier Days, the Pendleton Round-Up and Calgary Stampede—and was done by many of the Western greats, including Charles M. Russell. Whether riding bull or bronc, calf roping, barrel racing, or even just the atmosphere that is associated with rodeos, our special section will include something for everyone. Celebrate art of the rodeo with us in our April issue!
